WHAT IS A SCOTTYD TFP SHOOT?
A ScottyD TFP Shoot is a creative collaboration built around strategy before design.
We start with the idea — the mood, story, styling and purpose — then build the photography around it. These aren’t simply free photoshoots. They’re opportunities for models, artists, designers, performers and other creatives to experiment, build stronger portfolios and create work that stands apart.
Expect editorial portraiture, fashion, movement, unconventional concepts and a little creative chaos.
Come with a vibe. Leave with something neither of us had before.
Who Are TFP Collaborations For?
ScottyD creative collaborations are open to models, actors, musicians, performers, dancers, designers, makeup artists, stylists and other creatives interested in building distinctive visual work.
Professional modeling experience isn’t always necessary.
An interesting idea, personality and willingness to create matter considerably more.
Based in Dayton, Ohio, ScottyD Studios creates editorial portrait photography, fashion photography, creative model photography, studio photography and conceptual visual storytelling throughout Dayton and Southwest Ohio.

STRATEGY - BEFORE DESIGN
The strongest images don’t start with a camera. They start with an idea.
DISCOVERY - “Who are we want to talk to and what do we want to say?”
We meet (via Google Mtg) Before we choose the lighting, location, wardrobe or pose, we figure out what we’re trying to create — the story, mood, personality and purpose behind the photographs.
Then we build the visual world around it.
That’s Strategy Before Design: less copying what’s already been done, more creating something that feels intentional, original and unmistakably ours.
